Upon your registration you will receive information regarding training for coaches as well as a practice shirt. Stats will be kept on for players, there will be a tournament at the end of the season, and highlights on our YouTube channel. Practices will be at the coaches/players discretion. We are willing to do the ground work to place you with the team that best fits your schedule. Our focus is the development of your child both as an athlete and a person. Rules and Regulations

U-6

  • Team Size - (7)
  • ∗  FieldSize–30x20
  • ∗  Game Size - 4 v 4 (No Goalkeeper)
  • ∗  Length of game - Four 8-minute quarters. Two 2-minute break between quarters
  • ∗  Half-time interval of five (5) minutes.
  • ∗  Quarter Start Procedure - Alternating team kick-off each quarter
  • ∗  Ball Size - 3
  • ∗  GoalSize-4'x6'
  • ∗  The penalty box is 6 yards x 3 yards.
  • ∗  Players must play in both halves of each game. Each player SHALL play a minimum of 50% of the totalplaying time. Teams and games may be coed.
  • ∗  Players must wear assigned uniform. Alterations to the uniform are not permitted.
  • ∗  No jewelry or hats allowed during play
  • ∗  No toe cleats. (Ex: baseball cleats)
  • ∗  Referees will check both teams and their equipment before game.
  • ∗  Shin guards must be worn (under socks) at all times
  • ∗  Substitutions allowed between quarters, after a goal is scored by either team, own kick-in or goal kick.
  • ∗  One Coach from each team is allowed on the field during play to guide the players
  • ∗  One Assistant Coach is allowed behind the goal to guide the defensive players
  • ∗  No other adult from either team is allowed on the field or behind the goal
  • ∗  Parents/fans must stay 5 ft. away from field during play
  • ∗  No offside penalties
  • ∗  No slide tackles
  • ∗  No penalty kicks
  • ∗  No headers
  • ∗  No cards are shown for misconduct.
  • ∗  Fouls and Misconduct: Conform to FIFA with the exception that all fouls shall result in an indirect free kick. Thereferee/coach/parent must explain ALL infringements to the offending player.
  • ∗  A kick-in shall be used to restart play when the ball goes out of bounds. Kick-ins are considered as an indirect free kick.

  • ∗  The penalty box is 6 yards x 3 yards.
  • ∗  Coin toss determines which team kicks off first
  • ∗  Players must play in both halves of each game. Each player SHALL play a minimum of 50% of the

    • ∗  On a goal kick all players for the opposing team need to be at midfield before the kick is taken or

      at least retreating to midfield. Once the kick is taken the players from the opposing team can play.

    • ∗  Referees may issue yellow or red cards upon their discretion for un-sportsmanlike conduct

      resulting in suspension. Players that receive a suspension will not be allowed to play until reinstated by one of the league directors

    U-10

    • ∗  Team Size - (12)

    • ∗  Direct Free Kicks – Trips, kicks, hits, pushes, holds an opponent or touches the ball with his/her

      hands/arms

    • ∗  Penalty Kicks: Committing violation under Direct Free Kicks in the penalty area
    • ∗  Possession of the ball by the goalkeeper is defined by the keeper physically touching the ball with any part of the body other than the feet.
    • ∗  Referees may issue yellow or red cards upon their discretion for un-sportsmanlike conduct resulting in suspension. Players that receive a suspension will not be allowed to play until reinstated by one of the league directors
    • ∗  A player is in an offside position if he is in his opponents' half of the field and is nearer to his opponents' goal line than both the ball and fewer than two opponents. A player level with the second to last opponent is not in an offside position.
    • ∗  A player commits an offside offense by both (1) being in an offside position and (2) being involved in active play "at the moment the ball touches or is played by one of his team."
    • ∗  Note that a player is not committing an offside offence if the player receives the ball directly from a throw-in, goal kick or corner kick.

Coaches that receive a suspension will not be allowed to return until reinstated by one of the league directors
